Rare fully restored and reupholstered mid-century Italian solid brass Chiavari spindle back chair with padded seat reupholstered in Leopard print cowskin.

This polished brass chair was designed by Giuseppe Gaetano Descalzi for Chiavari, named after the Italian city where they originated. The small town, located between Genoa and the Cinque Terre, began producing these chairs at the beginning of the 19th century. The factory still exists and is well-known worldwide. The chair is in a very good condition.
