Delivery Guidelines & Terms

Prior to purchase we ask that you contact us to discuss delivery or collection of the items you are interested in.
Once your purchase has been made. We will look to turn around your order as swiftly as possible.
All deliveries are based upon leaving The Barn here in East Sussex, TN22

We have three options available for you.

Collection in person

Collect in person from The Barn in East Sussex. We would ask that you simply arrange with us a mutually convenient pick up date and time. In order that we ensure your items are ready.

courier company

If instructing your own preferred courier company. We would require them to liaise directly with us. In order to coordinate collection and ready your order for despatch. Please ensure they offer sufficient individual insurance for the item being transported. 

Choose us to deliver

All costs will be made available upon individual delivery requirement and location. This will be detailed for clarification, prior to purchase. Costs where more than one person is required, for heavier and more bulky items. Will be charged higher than of smaller pieces. 

Tips & advice

Pick Out a Space For Your New Furniture

The trick to furniture placement is to think aesthetics, space and practicalities. Will it look right alongside existing pieces. Will there be sufficient space to allow for movement. Will it become a practical addition for its position.

Measure Twice & Measure Again!

Please measure, to ensure that your new purchase will not only fit into its final resting place. But will pass en route, through doorways, hallways and staircases.

Clear a Path for Your Delivery

Ensure easy entry access for your delivery. Clear a pathway, by removing all potentially hazardous items, where possible. Assisting in a swift, damage free delivery.


All items are photographed and/or show the condition of the item as best we can. Please bear in mind that everything we sell has been pre loved and had a life before. Patination, historic marks and wear, through age and use are what makes these items ‘beautiful’ in our eyes.
Everything is assessed prior to its sale, to ensure its serviceable continuation and appreciation. Where required, sympathetic restoration and polishing is undertaken. Ensuring that the item/s you choose, serve you well and bring pleasure for years to come.
Please make us aware within 14 days of purchase, should you have any concerns.
Please note. Carriage will be charged, where we are not liable for its return.

Refund Policy

Should you have cause to return your purchase. We would ask that you please make us aware within 14 days of receipt of your goods. 
To initiate a return, please contact us in the first instance via email. Returns will only be accepted if they are without wear, damage and received in the same condition as when they left our premises for delivery. Items must be wrapped in original packaging, with tags where applicable, along with proof of purchase receipt. 
Returns must be organised and paid for by you the purchaser. We cannot accept returned goods, without prior knowledge and agreement.
We reserve the right to withhold a 10% restocking fee of the item cost against returns if necessary.

Failure to deliver

Failure to measure properly, thereby resulting in failure to deliver. Will result in additional courier/delivery costs and a 10% restocking charge of the returning goods.

Damages & Issues

Upon receipt of your goods. Please notify us immediately if there is damage or defect. We will look to remedy any problems as expediently as possible.
The above does not affect your consumer rights.
